I don't have an xbox one so I'm not sure what the settings are like on that platform, but I'm going to check on PC and see if I find anything. 🙂

Okay I did not find an option to alter friends recommendations on PC (I actually don't get them, but I have a save a dozen hours into the game so it's probably not asking me to set up anything anymore).
However, you can just go to the option above in the list, which is "Friends", and pulls your friendslist from Origin, so I'm guessing it behaves the same with your console's friendslist on the Xbox.
