I think it only works with the stock Honda bumper. The bumper that comes with the car when you buy it.

No luck i have tried with the stock bumper as well as the aftermarket ones available for the s2000.

Oh damn.. hmm. What if you go to hood customisation, but instead of selecting that, keep moving up. It should have a body-kit selection instead (the selector is on the roof). Pretty sure that installs the Voltex diffuser too but also the rest of the Voltex kit.

(Sorry, I'm not at home at the moment but I'm trying to remember!)
