Re: What do you like about NFS Payback?

@TheRealJony

Yeah OP also claims he's being open minded by banning all negative opinions from discussion. Maybe he should make up his mind first before he tells us what to do.

Not to mention derailing threads is a hobby for him.

Here is a few shots of the place i was telling you about.  Been there a few times and just recently saw it had a actual sign that named it in game. Vista Point , its above the Observatory.

I like heading up there in Multiplayer because the photo camera doesn't freeze in the game as it does in single player so one can pan the camera as in these pics and enjoy a peaceful sunrise and enjoy all the detail like seeing the airfield, solar field and the city for afar. Watching the sunrise and sunset there really shows off the cool lighting effects as well. , I dig it.   🙂

Well, look at you go with all the shiny photos. LOL

I really liked that first one in the dark...the desert at night in real life is awesome too!

So Thanks for posting some fantastic art here!

    Take care! :eahigh_file:

There's been a lot of posts recently talking about negative and positive feedback and how some threads should be designated to one or the other.

The forum is designed for discussion, it's what we want to see, it's what we like seeing. Of course we would prefer it if all feedback was positive but that's unrealistic, nothing is ever 100% perfect.

We aren't going to stop people posting negative feedback in any thread as long as it's constructive and relevant to the topic.

I think the rules have been slightly bent in this thread to call it "what do you like" but I think it's fair to also include in that thread what you may not like too.

If anyone has any issues with another player on the forum, or feels their post breaks the rules please report it and we'll review it, don't take matters into your own hands.

Keep the feedback coming....positive and negative 🙂

    Cheers,

For me nfs is a great game but with a couple of changes and new things the game can be even greater.
  • @EA_Andy   With all due respect, I hardly think one thread that kindly asks you to post positive feedback is going to devolve the forums into anarchy. I'm sure you can't help but notice that the forums are almost exclusively negative feedback already. While I agree with you that freedom of speech on this forum necessitates all viewpoints being heard, if nothing but the negative voices are heard, then no real progress for this game OR future ones can be made.\

Imagine for a moment that you get hired for a specific job, and every day your boss reviews your work and says "I don't like that; This isn't right; You suck at your job;" and so-on, but never once does he offer constructive or positive feedback on what you are doing right. How confused are you going to be? How frustrated? How difficult will it be to make any progress because you try 15 different things but he doesn't like any of them?

Now take Ghost, or Black Box, or Criterion, or Slightly Mad, or WHOEVER. They release a game and then the forums get FLOODED with negative criticism, while any time someone comes on with a positive attitude they are trolled by all the haters. It's ridiculous. Now the developer goes on the forums to try to figure out what people want so they can improve things, but all they see are complaints, with no positive feedback about what they got right.

And you wonder why every single release seems to have an identity crisis?! It's because the devs are going "****, they didn't like that - We'd better try something completely different!"  Their job trying to please all the people who, realistically, can't be pleased, could be likened to trying to kill a fly with a fly-swatter - you're going to miss more often than not.

@Jabberwocky79 - There's a difference between providing negative but constructive feedback to trolling a thread with negative comments. If someone is trolling we'd ask that it's reported so we can review. We don't want topics derailed through trolling but at the same time we can't remove an on-topic comment simply because there's a disagreement of opinion.

It's not just one voice that's heard, we're always looking at feedback from multiple sources and as I say, both positive and negative.

But in this game specifically i want to see more activity like events ,more recent patches and updates because for my point of view the game doesnt have so much importance.

There's been a lot of posts recently talking about negative and positive feedback and how some threads should be designated to one or the other.

Total misunderstanding as It wasn't about negative feed back,  it was about negative responds to others positive post. Being persecuted for liking things about the game and having positive threads being plagued  with negative replies towards ones positive opinion not the game is becoming the norm..

We aren't going to stop people posting negative feedback in any thread as long as it's constructive and relevant to the topic.

That is the problem , degrading a persons likes about this game with rude remarks is not relevant nor constructive at all.

I think the rules have been slightly bent in this thread to call it "what do you like" but I think it's fair to also include in that thread what you may not like too.

Hows is asking a simple question like that bending the rules ?? Its asked every day. What do you like about that song ?, what do you like about that movie ?. Do you know how annoying it gets when you are trying to have a positive discussion about some thing and you have that " other person " going off in your ear ranting that what you like is garbage and you are dumb for liking it . Tends to sour the chat real quick. So asking a positive simple question is bending the rules ???

If anyone has any issues with another player on the forum, or feels their post breaks the rules please report it and we'll review it, don't take matters into your own hands.

Reviewing it and doing something about it are two different things.

Standing up to it gets you banned by an over reacting moderator.  So from what i have seen here is that trying to have even one  normal positive conversation is impossible as there is always some hater that apparently has the right to jump in and complain and prosecute. I have seen a few members try and start a positive thread only to have it turned into a post with haters going off once again. They say Misery love company and no where is this more evident then on this forum as of late sadly.

My friend master2g got banned for 45 days for standing up for what was right. Something about sharing info relating to a user from another forum and a ban for abusive post directed at another users. Yeah cause no one else is abusive to others here by a lager margin right. This is why i dont have any account or dealings with EA.This was my first and most definitely my last post .

@Jabberwocky79 @XGCSith @BLVD69 and some moderators. , master2g wanted to say thanks for the great chats and stuff but due to recent events he wont be back on this forum . He said to say thanks and take care. He will maybe send you a friends request via origins or something.

    Goodbye. 🙂
