Rivals won't continue after opening screens

Hi,

I have recently had a problem with starting my Need For Speed Rivals.

I can start the game in Origin and the opening screens run, but when I am asked to press enter to continue, the game does not register my press.

I have tried a different keyboard, and have un-installed and re-installed with no effect. Could anyone help me?
