Shift 2 Installation problem

I'm trying to install NFS Shift 2 from a disk. I run the installation as an administrator and I don't get any errors. The installer runs to completion and I have the short cut on the start menu. Ever...

First off, let me start by saying welcome to EA’s “Answer HQ”.

If you can't install from disk. Maybe you can install from the "Origin digital" version: Some players have reported, they succeed to convert their retail disk version to Origin digital version by contacting EA support:
