So will there be multiplayer freeroam or what?

I have preordered the game, played the 10 hour trial, loved it... But, I am worried to see that there is much talk around the internet saying that there will be no multiplayer freeroam. That is like ...

@Sorum13 Dude that looks like a short freeroam lobby before speedlists, its not the free roam that I wanted, a few minutes in freeroam before a speedlist is * tbh, I wanted freeroam like it was nfs 2015.... this doesnt really get my feelings up tbh, but it is something. I do want a solid answer from one of the devs or something, solid facts, so I can be calm and not go getting a refund.
