So will there be multiplayer freeroam or what?

I have preordered the game, played the 10 hour trial, loved it... But, I am worried to see that there is much talk around the internet saying that there will be no multiplayer freeroam. That is like ...

I just hope EA read this thread and do something about it. Mostly of my friends wont buy it because there is no multiplayer freeroam...

Is it so difficult to make an online freeroam? Also it would be so nice to do all the stunts like jumps and speedruns together with friends.

At least an Coop Freeroam would be enough i guess.
