@rynor777 As of recently it's pretty much getting rid of that new EA beta excuse of an app. Get Origin re-installed, if the game does not work, just delete all of the files in C:\ProgramData\Origin except for the "LocalContent" folder then fire up origin on its own, and validate the files via Origin's repair function. Then kill Origin to fire up NFS-H from steam.
It's a ridiculous process but it works. I've seen some bugged games and launchers over the years but this takes the cake IMO.
If your game does not appear in Origin then you can try re-installing the whole thing but for sure don't use EA App, it's rubbish at best and doesn't recognise half the things it should.

@NOUSD4BUGS The problem I'm now facing is, I had the EA useless app installed along with Origin.
When I opened Origin it stated it will soon be shifting to the new EA App.
I tried opening the EA app, where it then gave some options to repair or something, and it removed Origin from my PC.
So now I'm stuck with the beta EA app, which is a huge pain in the *, and I can't seem to find an Origin Installer file anywhere online ☹️
Even when I did find one, it defaults to the EA app everytime.
It's like the EA app is some sort of virus, which even after deleting completely still lingers in my pc.
- dzrtr4 years agoHero@rynor777 remove EA App, reboot your pc, check for any remnant crap in your temp or application data folders - you may wish to go into safe mode, and download an installer - for me the one from origin dot onl worked.
Install the Origin, start your steam, kill the installed Origin, and launch the game from steam and it should not enforce you to install the new rubbish thing. If NFS-H crashes, then repeat what I said above. Still, the amount of messing about with the useless launchers is mind-boggling.
Sometimes you gotta disable your AV too.
Good luck.- 4 years ago@NOUSD4BUGS Okay, wow. I followed your advice
And finally, hallelujah!! Finally the game is working!
I also discarded the absolutely useless EA app and purged every trace of it from my laptop
And re-installed Origin, and now all games are working smoothly.
Thank you so much bro.
You have no idea how insane this issue was driving me 😅😂- dzrtr4 years agoHero@rynor777 No worries, I was stuck for ages trying to figure out how to make this stupid game work. As much as I really like NFS, anything that requires launching 3rd party app is usually an instant, fk buying that game, especially if its something like EA App (there are plenty of other devs/publisher that use equally rubbish apps to launch the games, so EA aint alone)
