@Sparco_MLR my post keeps disapearing for some reason. i dont understand why, but here it is again.
"I don't take anything from Black Pantha or AR12 seriously they are both pretty terrible YouTubers who really don't know much or even care about the franchise, they're more so just happy to be able to play and get views"
ok. Black Panthaa was the leading force in the #CraigItUp movement whether you like it or not he is the main reason Ghost Games even added a story and customization to the game, and I doubt he plays games for views considering Forza is a more popular game than NFS right now and he refuses to play Horizon 3 saying the game is just Horizon 2 reskinned (which it is)
"EA is known to pay YouTubers to say positive things about their games"
EA are also known to let you know when they pay someone by making the people they pay to put this in the beginning or the end of their video "Sponsored By EA Ronku" and EA's policy on that is "we don't tell the players what to say they are entitled to their opinions" and they can not legally lie about stuff like that without having huge court cases.
"As for the turn off brake drift option (if this is actually a option) we still have no idea how the cars will handle with that off, looking back at 2015 NFS the cars still handled very poorly with a "grip" setup."
the cars can turn with the grip setting on, the players who played behind closed doors say that the handling of the grip cars in payback handle like a heavier, slower, and more refined F132. which the F132 in 2015 if you didn't know had completely different physics from every car in the game. to quote Black Panthaa on these "you can actually turn with the grip, that's one of the first things I tried when i went to ghost to play the game early" and "if you look at the hot rod, that was a new take on the handling and that was a first step to what the new handling is going to be in Payback" and in terms of the drift handling that has been changed very slightly so now they work properly. let me explain, in the last game when you drifted your wheels would lock in the opposite direction to the joy stick if you look at the gameplay your wheels no longer automatically lock. because if you didn't know the whole reason the drifting in the last game was all over the place was that the prediction system that needed to be involved with the automatic wheel lock wasn't advanced enough and not a single physics engine in existence right now is capable of that type of prediction, that's why they removed that entire factor from the drifting. at 0:35 and 1:21 in the gameplay trailer you can see what I'm talking about. and to get a more in depth explanation please refer to this thread --> http://answers.ea.com/t5/Game-Information/physics-are-fixed-improved-heres-why/m-p/6115289
"As for takedowns when talking about trademark it was more so to imply that Burnout is very much known for that"
the takedowns in burnout were initiated as soon as you touched another car, as you can see in payback the cars don't get knocked out just by a little scratch not only this, but the takedown cameras only exist in these missions as stated during the PlayStation E3 event in reference to the takedown camera by William Ho the creative director of Payback "we want it to feel like a reward right? you know if you see it all the time it's not a reward".
"I would much rather be negative about a game that has been trash for years to make sure I'm not let down again than to be overly positive and end up let down again its as simple as that"
you shouldn't be mad and be attacking Ghost games because of this. Ghost has only made 2 and a half games including Payback. you can't be mad at ghost because of The Run, Shift, Shift 2, Hot Pursuit (2010), Most Wanted (2012), or Rivals because they didn't make those games. they only made half of Rivals that's known from the beginning of rivals with the logo screen that had the ghost logo then switched to another slide says "in association with Criterion Games" which confirms that Rivals was a collaboration game.
