suggestion for a new multiplayer mode

hi

i have a suggestion for a new multilayer mode for the need for speed games. my brother & i already play this using freerun online, but we'd love to share our game with the world...

before i begin, i apologise if someone has already made this suggestion, i'm new to this forum/website/whatever this is...

basically our game is a need-for-speed interpretation of the playground game 'tag':

-one car is "it"

-the other car(s) is the "runner(s)"

-the "it" car must chase & touch the "runner" car

-when this happens the roles are reversed: the chaser becomes the chased, the runner becomes "it".

-this works really well between the two of us, although in some of the more hectic moments it is easy to lose track of who is who. if there were an official online version of this game however, you could have arrows over each car, indicating the "runner" and the "it" car. you could even have more than two players, with one "it" car and several "runners."

-points could be scored depending on the individual chase times. the "runner" gets points for evading the "it" car as long as possible, the "it" car gets points for a shorter pursuit.

-maybe the game could be improved by reducing the cars' tendency to get 'took down' quite so easily, as when we 'tag' each other, the cars often crash and the game comes to a halt. or maybe there could be a feature allowing the players to turn the 'takedown' feature on or off before each game.

anyway, that's the game we play & it would be a-blimmin-mazing if we could play it with others. we are huge nfs fans, and as my brother lives in london (and i in the midlands), playing tag on nfsmw has become one of the main ways we keep in touch. which is kinda nice when you think about it (or is it just sad?)

  • The only problem i could see with this is that everybody would just use the Hennessey, bugatti, koenigsegg

True. I guess you could add car restrictions, like on the existing online events
