The car classes...

Hey!

Now that we have some information about the car classes, I was wondering if it is possible to use for example a drag car in a race match, or in a mission for runner class.

Nowhere better than here to talk about it! I personally think that it would be cool!

    Hey, a Great question you pose here.

    Here is what I know....as many already know this but it's worth repeating for those who might not know.

    The game has five tiers, and there will be cars that can be built in most of the five tiers.

    So based on your example of that yummy  1965 Ford Mustang  it's a Runner & it's a Drag Tier Car.

    I just am not sure how many other tiers that car or any car could be customized in the game until launch day.

    We will all, however soon learn what cars & what Tier limitations each car will have as to how we can use them in the game.

    So for now...we're just picking straws until the game is officially released.

    I agree that the information in this video, with not being official, makes sense, but I noticed something from the latest trailer that made me doubt it!

    As we know, one of the classes in this game is the Runner Class, and I think it's designed for missions with cop chases and other things.

    From what I know, the green 1965 Ford Mustang that we see in the trailers is a drag car (the first image) but we see the same car roaming the city and about to start the Double_Agent_Chase mission (the second image), which I think is related to the Runner cars!

    Any thoughts?

    With watching the trailers again and reading the news in the NFS website, I think that you can't for example make the Koenigsegg Regera an Off-Road car (Probably!), but you can start an Off-Road event with it!

    But I guess waiting is the only way to find it out for sure!

    Well, of course, it's one car per class...have you ever seen an NFS game that had two different classes in a single class?

    Think hard on that...The answer is NO.😛

    @BLVD69 Did I understand the question wrong? Wasn't he asking if he could use a drag car for events or races which are made for the runner class (or other).

    I believe it has been confirmed but, it can prove very hard to win a race like that. For example, using a drag car in a street race will be hard because street races have turns and lets face it, drag cars cant turn. If its a challenge you want to take, go for it.

    I thought they said the derelicts can be made into any of the 5 classes, while other purchasable cars may have multiple classes you can build them in, but not all... like the previous example you can't build a Regera into an off-roader
