The Police Can't Catch Up! Police Chases are BORING!

I want to get in an epic police chase, but I always just get into a chase with one or two cop cars that cannot seem to drive and cannot drive over 100 mph. I'm always waiting for them to catch up and...

Yeah, when I play NFS:MW I gotta wait till I'm heat level 3, but then I can't escape anymore. Pretty lame.
