Hi,I installed the NFS: PayBack Trial and wanted to play it, but the game doesn't start at all. I repaired it and tried again, didn't help. Started it as administrator and again didn't play.when I run the task manager, the game comes up for a few seconds and then disappears from the process tab. I also have all the requirements for the game and all graphic drivers are installed.

I had the same problem, I think you might be using an older client that isn't updating on its own. Uninstall Origin and reinstall it from the website.

Hi,

Ive got a slight problem with NFS Payback, trial loads from origin fine, opening screens load all ok. As soon as i click on ‘resume’ the screen just sits with the four squares in the bottom right hand corner. Has anyone else had this issue ? My drivers are up to date and ive had search around and cant see anyone else with this issue.

It works to start the game but for me the trial still unplayable as +the frame rate is 1image/5 sec :'(

Have the same problem with you, running any other games fine, this is the only game couldn't run, the game crashes right after I press enter in the starting menu, rig is i7-8700K+GTX1080 with windows 10 pro 1709, don't know whats the problem

Is your primary monitor connected to your GTX 980M?

I use my Laptop and the monitor display is attached to the laptop anyway.

Did you fix it? My trial was working fine like 2 days ago, yesterday I managed to launch it on the 5th try. Today it doesn't start at all.

I did what you say and NFS started to download about 900 MB more then it worked all ok
