EA Staff (Retired)I totally disagree with the idea of NFS having no story, I've already played Forza this year.
The only small issue i see with the story character is that they sound like and even act like kids; i know it's not supposed to fully reflect the reality of street racing, cuz yeah, it's an arcade title, but I want characters to feel badass, I want them to look and feel like real men and women. Ana's phone calls about the burger and walking (trying to avoid spoilers here) are a little on the 15 year old side of things.
Torres and Mercer however feel somewhat more "real", even considering the clichee "bad, crooked cop" idea.
That's just my 2 cents, the game is great overall, and just before launch I played Undercover, where characters were much more mature so maybe this is why this is my opinion.
And a side note: i have not complete the full story, maybe I am wrong.
