What a crap game
Not as horrible as Payback but still crap in compare with NFS:UG1 and UG2 & Most Wanted 2005
Will EA ever bring back a high quality game like those ? Or just going on with doing that waste ?

True, NFS:UG, UG2 and Most Wanted 2005 with HD Texturepack + Widescreen patch is palyable via Gameranger and other VPN programs and does a lot fun.
But i do not understand this crap from EA Studios, do they really have so less talents ? Or is this new philosophy to bringout crap games with less investigations
to just collect money ?
This is indeed the philosophy of current open-world racing games, minimal effort for maximum gains. And, I bet the developers of these games know full well, that we the players have very few options and have no qualms about taking advantage of the fact.
I'll say this. Unless I see a Test Drive Unlimited 3, I will not be buying anymore racing games. At least with the Test Drive Unlimited series, they're 2 for 2 in quality and overall great gameplay.
Ubisoft, Playground Games, and EA / Ghost Games have disappointed me for the last time and will no longer be getting my money.
@BestNoobAre you on crack? UG1 & 2 are Unplayable compared to heat. Ug1 and 2 brought customizing the cars to racing games. Thats why people love them. They are absolute trash to play in 2020. Heat is 10000x better than U1 or 2 no question.
I can agree that UG 1 was unplayable and only due to the horrific Rubber-banding (and traffic), but Underground 2 dude? Come on, give credit where credit is due.
Underground 2 was light years beyond any Rubber-banding setup in current racing games, to the point where even racing on hard was not unplayable, IMO it's only failure was the traffic spawn settings. Even Most Wanted and Carbon had horrific Rubber-banding.
As far as this being like world, no. World as a MMO Racing game was far better set up for Massive Multiplayer Online game. This game has: No lobbies - Only 16 players per session - No events outside of races for Multiplayer (Escape for instance) - No racing tiers (150 only, 200 only, 300 only, 400+), and clearly isn't setup for such.
However, even IF Heat had these things, the game would be limited to maybe 2 or 3 cars racing, cuz the rest are lacking in comparison.

I can see why you say that. Throughout most of the game(s), you'll be going less than 300 km/h. Near the end of the game(s), you'll be going just roughly around 320 km/h - 340 km/h.
I see your opinion and I'll leave it at that. My opinion is pretty different from yours.

NFS World was a MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) racing game. You are supposed to see lots of players in an area, hence the term "Massively" from MMO.
Drift City, Project Torque, Ray City, and such were all MMO racing games that had lots of players in an area.
Here's two videos of Drift City and Ray City respectively with a lots of players in an area. Unfortunately, I could not find a Project Torque video with lots of players in an area.
These are what you call a MMO racing game.
NFS Heat is not a MMO racing game as ZeroMcDol already described.

You can sandbag every race if you wanted to in NFS Underground 1 with its OP rubberbanding. lol
Stay in last place until near the end to get easy wins. lmao XD
Although I never did this as this will make the game incredibly boring.

I find that racing on Hard difficulty in NFS Underground 2 is HARDER than racing on Hard difficulty in NFS Underground 1.
Even to this day, I struggle on Hard difficulty in NFS Underground 2. The AIs are insane, especially in U.R.L. races when there are 5 of them.
You Stated - Quote: 15 years later and Underground 2 is still remembered positively and even still, in 2019, gets playtime by fans.
I wonder. In 15 years will this game even be remembered positively? Will Payback?
My Reply:
Old school looks the way to go for NFS gaming needs for me.
I don't think honestly anyone will remember Payback or Heat in a positive way.
This new Heat game and Payback and 2015 are all total rubbish and empty dreams!
The Ghost Devs need to hire some help and EA needs to stop their greedy ways with consumers!
Heres is when this game series was fun.....and after most wanted and Carbon the Franchise lost it's own identity and went off the cliff in my opinion!
Since then too EA and Ghost keep packaging each new title as Eye Candy.
Sadly, the candy packaging only tastes sour once we the consumers buy the new incomplete game for our PC or home consoles systems.
Have a good day.
P.S. Old School below in pics was way more memorable and will be forever the cream of the crop in NFS!

Ima bout to buy those games on PS1 and PS2 haha (I already have Carbon and MW 2005, but don't play them).
Yep it's sad to say, but I'm finding the older racing games to be a lot more appealing these days, with TDU2 being the exception and my main go to racing game.
