What will happen once they shut the servers down?

Does EA have a future proof solution so we would be able to play this game offline once they stop supporting it? I played the 10 hour demo and I'm loving it, but I'm just worried that in 2-3 years th...

    I don't have any information about such future plans at the moment.

    However, seeing that servers for ten year old games such as Need for Speed Carbon are still online, I just want to assure you that you don't have anything to worry about for a long time to come. However, if the unlikely scenario you mentioned does come to pass, we will notify all players well in advance of our plans.

Any new info about an offline patch of some kind? A few days ago it was announced that another always-online racing game The Crew will be shuttering their servers in March 2024 with no promise of an offline patch.

Considering it seems the licensing deals with car manufacturers tend to be 10 years, will Need For Speed 2015 suffer the same fate in 2025?
