If you are still seeing this issue, it may be worthwhile running a GPU monitoring app such as EVGA Precision or MSI Afterburner and configuring a frame rate limiter, set it to your monitor/display refresh rate.

i had the same issue. Updating the latest motherboard bios is the solution. It worked for me at least.

In addition to updating the latest bios, sometimes game don't launch. You need to repair the game in Origin(if you updated the latest bios.) then everythimg will be normal. I think the game license protection systems cause issues and damages in hard drives. Because my hard drive started to make unusual voices and it sounds terrible after I bought and installed SWBF2 but the game runs properly.

  • Actually EA_Barry...i was having this issue and i adjusted the setting in NVIDIA controll panel and disabled the dinamic resolution in game

In NVIDIA control panel i set v sync on and set open gl rendering gpu to my gpu. I tested various framerate options which seemed to do nothing, the game would still frame drop once in a while which an alt + tab seemed to fix.

I need to test this further to confirm. Pleas let your team know about this issue, the mother board im using is a Z170 pro gaming. This is the only game acting like this. An no, my computer is fine.

the same problem happens to me but only when i play gta 5 i also playing much stronger game than that but it only happens during gta i tried switching my gpu from rx to gtx but it still happened

then i disabled anti surge support from bios and it completely fried my psu next day i bought new one but problem continued.

    here are the specs

    i5 2500k

    Rx580 8gb

    16gb RAW

600w psu previous fried psu 400w

so i have one option left it sounds crazy but i will take my entire build to my friends house and make sure problem is caused by hardware and not house electronic wirings
