WHITE LIGHT/SCREEN BUG/GLITCH

alright, just opened my NFS and in the intro (driving to meet the guy at the club) i'm driving and there is some light that i'm coming up to and the light becomes blindingly bright and eventually the entire screen turns white. everything else is working fine but i can't see anything because the entire screen is white. i uploaded an in game screen shot (which is just white). i tried changing different graphic settings to see if it made a difference, but there was none and as a result i can't play. any assistance would be much appreciated.

think i posted this to the wrong board at first, i also tried restarting my pc and that still didn't help

Paras, it sounds like you're experiencing a "white light/screen bug/glitch" issue in Need for Speed. This problem can be frustrating, but there are a few steps you can take to try and resolve it.

    1. Update Graphics Drivers: Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can often cause graphical glitches. Visit the website of your graphics card manufacturer (NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel) and download the latest drivers for your specific GPU model.
    2. Lower Graphics Settings: If you haven't already, try lowering your in-game graphics settings to the lowest possible values. Sometimes, this can help with graphical glitches.
    3. Check for Game Updates: Ensure that your game is fully updated. Developers frequently release patches to fix bugs and glitches. Go to the game's official website or platform (Steam, Origin, etc.) to check for updates.
    4. Monitor Overheating: Overheating components can lead to graphical issues. Make sure your GPU and CPU temperatures are within safe limits. Clean your PC of dust and ensure proper airflow.
    5. Verify Game Files: If you're playing on a platform like Steam, you can verify the integrity of the game files. Right-click on the game in your Steam library, go to Properties, and then to the Local Files tab. Click "Verify Integrity of Game Files."
    6. Disable Overlays: Some third-party software overlays, like Discord or GeForce Experience, can cause conflicts. Try disabling them while playing.
    7. Check Background Applications: Certain background applications can interfere with your game. Close unnecessary programs before running Need for Speed.
    8. Check for Conflicting Software: Ensure there are no conflicting software or applications running that may interfere with your game.
    9. Reinstall the Game: If none of the above solutions work, consider uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. This can sometimes resolve persistent issues.
    10. Contact Support: If the problem persists, it's a good idea to contact the game's official support or community forums for additional assistance. They may have specific solutions or workarounds for your issue.

Remember to back up your game settings and progress if necessary before attempting some of these steps. I hope one of these solutions helps you get back to enjoying Need for Speed without the blinding white screen issue. Good luck!
