I've never seen a game this broken before. It literally took 4 hits to get busted.While i have to ram the cops 8 to 10 times to wreck their cars, plus i take damage in the process as well. And combine that with a 3 repair limit is BS !!! Whoever came with this stupid decision should be fired !!!I have played most of the need for speed games, but i've never seen a system this broken before. In Rivals you could repair your cars with a small cool down which is much more fair than having a 3 repair limit in Heat. I was hoping for a good NFS Game, but now i feel like i wasted 60 bucks on a broken game...

Niether one of you has probably gotten your car to higher than 220 score. At that point you outrun heat 2 cops and they don't really damage you all that much. Then if you get to 300+, nothing can actually catch up to you, they can kind of keep their distance, but the moment you start cutting corners real smooth like or going over 200 mph they lose you. Its incredibly easy, even the corvettes don't catch up, I haven't gotten anything higher than the corvettes despite getting all the way up to heat 5, cause even at heat 5 it doesn't matter as long as a cop doesn't see you.Trust me, at first I thought the cops were op, but they are far from it once you have built a good car. As it should be. The repair limit is justifiable so that you are not just suriving endlessly against cops pressure, there has to be a limit on how much you can take and it makes you more careful. Just get your car(s) up, and you'll see how easy it can be. As long as you know how to drive ofcourse.

Christ, it is incredible how bad some people are at this game.If your car is slow, you will take lots of damage (obvious since you can't get away and get hit far more often). If you can't outrun the cop car, it will obviously keep catching up to you and ramming you.You can use the "Damage Reduction" auxiliary perk to make your car SIGNIFICANTLY more durable, even with the Level 1 perk. To deal more damage, you would want the "Damage Increase" perk, but you cannot run both of these perks simultaneously. I would highly recommend you stick with Damage Reduction.If having 3 gas station repairs per night is too little for you (somehow?), you can get the secondary auxiliary perk with the toolkit, which gives you extra repairs on the go. The Level 1 perk allows you to use 1 repair whenever, the Level 2 gives you 2 repairs.If 5 repairs per night/race is too little for you... enjoy the refund

@taladays Im with you man. At first I thought the cops were OP to the max, but i was reluctant to complain about it publicly after all the complaints about cops being too easy previously. However, when I got my hands on a 335 level Corvette everything changed. I've now found the best way of leveling up is actually during races at night. The cops are much easier to lose during the race and once the race is over, don't stick around, get out of dodge. Same goes during any pursuit. If you're in a chase in downtown, head to the port. If you hang around a certain area during a chase, the cops are gunna clamp you down. The most helpful thing I've found is damage reduction in the passive auxilary. That has been a god send, keeps me in the game longer.

Indeed the 3 repair system is just not good, i like the repair system in Rivals, and the cops ??? man the cops are way overpowered compare to Rivals at least in rivals you can outrun them but in heat past lvl 2 the game is over. I hop this won't end up like Anthem

@HowlingBeast I hate Rivals because of the same reason i am starting to hate Heat 1st is the health bar and second are the damn cops.

This game is a total mess and its going to end up like Anthem.

That's only a problem in very early game. Easy solution , while your vehicle is under around 270 perf rating, avoid the cops at night and always return to a garage before or immediately after reaching Heat level 3. After you hit 300 pert rating it gets much easier, I've only played about 16 hours but already annihilating the cops in my 650bhp V8 swapped Evo IX . My advice is make a purpose built car specifically for night races & pursuits.... use something 4 wheel drive (For optimum high speed cornering) and equip Rally differential, tyres and suspension, that way you can out corner the fuzz and take rapid offroad shortcuts when needed without losing speed. Carry a repair kit and/or damage reduction passive ability and combine that with some decent driving and you're sorted 🙂

I already refunded the game. If they ever decided to fix this, then i might give it another go.
I actually enjoy Rivals, since the system is fair, can repair cars as many times as needed, and you can play as a cop or racer. And you have tech to deal with cops.
In this game you have no tech to fight cops, and slamming them also damage your own vehicle as well. So no, the game needs more work.

iam with you! The game isnt that hard and iam also in the mind you should be able to fail cause thats what makes this game a challenge and not a "run through easy game" like nfs 2015 or payback.

I do like limit in repairs. NFS was always easy game..too easy. The same with damage system - I love it.

@HowlingBeast Even when A Rhino tries to hit you at full speed coming from the other directions? Every 2 minutes?

You can't outrun them because they spawn either in front of you or just ram you from whatever angle they can. Let's say you can outrun them for 5 minutes. That, I can believe, but you can't keep outrunning them, that's why only 3 repairs. So you have to bail out at some point.

@DeadPhoenix86 RIVALS SYSTEM WAS EVERYTHING BUT DEFINITELY NOT FAIR. I just remember how racers were doing donuts in gas stations and were invincible.
