Will there be a Need For Speed Most Wanted 2005 remaster? (Restore Hope)

The NFS MW Remake is simply a rumor as of now, the idea came about when NFS MW Actor simone bailey tweeted out that there was a remake coming in 2024 but then she deleted it like 30 seconds later, allegedly Habib Zargarpour (Art Director for NFS MW) then put a picture of Simone's tweet on his own story on Instagram and also removed it later on.

However, what debunks the rumor is that the actor for Razor (Derek hamilton) himself messaged Criterion on one of their NFS Unbound volume updates posts asking if he could work with them to give the fans what they want. If there was a remake in the works, wouldn't derek hamilton be hired already? and I'd guess he would be signed up on an NDA so he couldn't talk about this. I mean maybe you could argue that they got a new actor to play Razor but Derek is up for the job I don't see why they wouldn't want to hire him.

I would love nothing more than to see this game remastered I loved it when it first came out and was easily my most enjoyed game next to NFS carbon

So it's been like 7 years and BMW put up an old m3 GTR and wrapped like the one from the game and even the actor that played Razor came and saw it. The people want a remaster of this game. We are just not happy with what has came of need for speed these days. It will save the franchise. You think 15 million is a lot of copies sold, remaster this game and you'll double it.
