    I may have solved my problem. Turns out the mustang may have been bugged. When i started the game I selected the mustang, but when I left the garage it gave me the nissan. So I restarted the Xbox and it gave me the mustang. I suppose the mustang was bugged because i bought a new car and i am not having issues as of yet.

When is the hot fix coming? I want to upgrade my car.

    @EA_Atic i see a post with this same issue that is a month old. I have this problem too. When is this going to be fixed. 

    I can't install a single performance part.

      @EA_Barry are you able to offer any help? I reinstalled the game i i ha the same issue. Changed to wired internet connection. Same issue.
