Xbox One Controller suddenly not recognized
Suddenly the game doesn't recognize my Xbox One Wireless Controller. It worked before, though. Don't know what I changed but in other games the pad works! So I can't press "A" in the first menu and no buttons work neither in menus nor ingame. Only keyboard buttons work.
/edit: It's Windows 7 x64, using the Wireless Adapter for Windows (obviously). I don't understand why there is no Gamecontroller in my device-manager except the "Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows" but under networking devices !?!?
In control panel under devices and printer there is a "XBOX ACC" with a modem-symbol. When I right-click on the symbol and go to "Gamecontrollers" the "Controller (Xbox One For Windows" is listed with an "OK". There I also can test the controller with all its buttons and sticks.
Is it not working because there is no controller in my device-manager? But other games work, as already said!
/edit2: Game is working with my old 360-controller ! Also I'm not able to connect my One-Controller only via USB to my PC. It always wants to connect to the wireless adapter so I can't test it connected via USB 😕
I'm already at the latest driver for that so unfortunately it is still not working. Only in Rivals! Every other game works. 🤒
/edit: I found the solution !!! Here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Need-for-Speed-Rivals/Xbox-One-Controller-Support/m-p/6607107#M15011 I got the hint to start the game in x32 (in Origin at Rivals -> Game-Properties -> Advanced Launch Options)
