xInput vs DirectInput

So does it work with DirectInput or not? Paypack didn´t work, skipped that game.

I have Speedlink Strike NX and switching to other mode, that isn´t Xbox controller, with MODE button crashes the game altogether. NFS 2013 was examplary in this respect, gamepad worked fine, FPS was the same as in NFS Heat, graphics was beautiful on max settings.

Any suggestions on controllers that actually work in this game?  I like my Strike NX not for price but for the ergonomics also, using claw grip on the mouse so a more slim\sleek design seems better for me... All XBOX original controllers seem so fat.

SL Strike NX works on XBOX 360 mode but the acc button raises speed like 5KM\h per hour:P

(On a side note, how are you supposed to install SL SNX drivers in win10? Or adjust RL\LT sensitivity or calibrate any buttons in DirectInput mode? I have better memories from Win8.1 era...)
