Metacritic score 5.3 and falling Need hot fix ASAP
On steam is mixed but there are like 30-50 new negative reviews every day. Developers cant wait to march for update, they need fix major issue much sooner or in march can be negative rank on steam.
TLDR major problems from negative reviews which should be fixed within week.
Singleplayer
- slow progression low money income - solution remove the starting fee from races - like seriously there are 140 cars and you dont have money to buy any of them and you are using cars which you win only, even if you win majority of races.
- relaxed AI - ppl are really mad and hate on game that they cant beat AI and win, I dont blame them if they buy bad car and there are plenty real trash slow cars they just cant win, so they dont make money and they cant progress, there is so much hate just on this in feedback. Also if you buy bad car you dont have money to buy another and you are stuck wit it for pretty long time Solution nerf the bloody AI by huge margin so 6 year old and our parents can win as well.
- make option to restart story mode, ppl have technical issues which lost them all the money or ppl just want to replay it for missed cars or just to enjoy replay story with new cars on higher difficulty, they need to keep money and cars tho, just race the story again
- cops most hate from feedback overall is against cops, I agree, make no sense to race for 2 minutes and then evade cops for 10 minutes every time, relaxed diff should have like almost zero cops on road and be more easy
- make option to remove cartoon effects, this is really big most ppl just hate it, even I almost didnt buy the game just becouse of this, but this issue is present in almost every negative reviews
- Players also hate on story and day and night cycle but not much developers can fix about that.
- drifting is not working ppl coming from Heat really hate on this
Mulitplayer
- low players in lobby - solution increase lobby size or add AI or both
- grindy as hell - increase payouts
- lack of content
- meta cars - just remove the bloody Pista from B tier, seen so many times ppl complain on it on steam its not funny, ppl think that other players cheat with S+ car in B tier and its their first impression from the game
Those fixes will greatly improve review score on metacritics and steam and are most improtant, developers just cant wait 2-3 months to do something. Forza Horizon 5 have very positive reviews meanwhile Unbound which is much better game has mixed and still falling just becouse things which can be easily fixed.
