I turned off cross play as every S race I was playing had a PC player listed as playing a Lambo but in game they were driving a golf that was untouchable, always accompanied with 2 bots that also were driving lambo's so the cheater could do the online race. Why does the so-called 'master race' need to cheat so much? I thought disabling crossplay would fix the botting/hacking but no....On console almost every race online has someone cheating. Usually the car they are listed as using, isn't the car they are driving in game. The car is always untouchable, no way to get anywhere near it. There are countless videos and sites that show lots of different ways to hack the cars or your money yet no patch to block the hacks?There isn't even an option to report people for hacking... It's totally sucking the fun out of the game! What's the point in playing when its not a fair a race? I just feel like I am gifting cash to cheaters. Please EA, fix this before you kill the userbase

The cheating in Unbound is out of control

Well I drive a Rabbit but I'm legit and don't often win because I crash a lot. Raced last night in S+ and came across these suspicious Racers, doesn't look legit to me.

In the Screenshot with my Banner it should show 99 as it usually does but I only see a 9. The other Banner Racer Rating does not look legit either.

wow, you wrote that well. I was about to write a post myself, but I'll answer you and I hope many players will read it.
I've been playing NFS since the beginning, and have every game because I just love car racing. I've been playing Unbound since it came out, at first I played through the story, then I started playing online, and I was shocked to find that, in contrast to the previous NFS games, nothing, absolutely nothing, has changed. Some days it's particularly bad, sometimes it's okay, but you can say that 60% of the time it's really the case that you think your opponent is driving a car from another planet. Yesterday and today were particularly bad. You have such gamers in the playlist who really work together to win, e.g. you want to overtake, then one gamer hits you in such a way that you cause an accident, and then you can no longer win anyway. Or worse, the gamer in front of you crashes and is still ahead of you even though you were right behind the gamer. Something like that is just not possible in my logical thinking. That's why I already remember a lot of names, and when they start a race, I don't accept it, and if I start a race and then have players like the one with the Golf in my playlist, I just stay after a few meters just drive standing still, or leave the playlist, because then they are already so far ahead that you can never, ever win against them. I still have crossplay enabled, but I don't need to disable it reading this from you. I play PS5, but before that I played NFS Heat on PC, but whether it's PC or PS5, the games I finish #1 online can be counted on one hand. So now I don't feel like writing any more. Just keep driving and have at least a little bit of fun.

@Zammmo As someone who is part of the PC Playerbase, I find this hard to believe.

so far to my knowledge the modding tools that would allow for drastic changes to performance aren't working to modify performance values as of yet unless they REALLY Dig into the code deeply.

And as I know, Golfs with a V8 Engine Swap are a forced to be reckoned with, as they're incredibly fast climbing up the speed

The thing about Lamborghinis showing up as their listed car is a glitch from launch that sets the car name of some players to mistakenly display the loaner cars or your own car's name.

Truth to be told, almost all races I participate in with other PC players are close races, and normally PS and Xbox players fall behind, with few exceptions.

This is mainly due to the "hardcore" speedrunning playerbase prefers to play on PC, and thus a lot more people find ways to be faster in PC

Don't blame you for turning off Crossplay tho... it's annoying that all I can find in S+ Races are Regeras...

oh well, then what I experienced yesterday and today can be described as normal. I have a Lamborghini Countach 2021 on S+400 and my 2 opponents had the Ford GT17 with S+331, and both were so incredibly fast in terms of acceleration and top speed that I had no chance of winning the race with my Lambo . And that's not just yesterday and today, but at least 60% always.

Here I made a screenshot, on which you can see exactly what is going wrong here, in the screenshot the opponent has a Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 (2021) the same car as I use, but in the race he drives a Königsegg Regera, and afterwards at the award ceremony there is suddenly a Lamborghini. What is going terribly wrong here? And today, during the race, a car jumped over my car for the first time and was in front of me, I last had this problem with NFS Payback, it was often the case there. So dear EA team, fix these bugs.

better fix the cheating and faking, but when I think about it, and I won't put it so blatantly, there are at least 50% cheaters and fakers, and losing them would be a loss of money for EA, so let's do nothing about it , Money makes the world go round.

@TurboZino This is exactly my experience as well. Knowing how to build a fast car, and driving fast can make it appear as though you are cheating... the bug of the car names not showing up correctly doesn't help. A number of the NFS racing league play on PC. Wouldn't be surprised if you came up against them in all fairness.

I came up with something good on this topic and I tried it too. When playing online, you notice straight away who is driving normally and who is not driving normally. Then throw a party with these gamers who drive normally and you suddenly have a lot of fun with online racing. I've done that 70% of the last few days and they were all close races, sometimes we almost finished the same time and it wasn't that many seconds behind the last one. Then something like this picture can't happen, with a race track that isn't difficult, that 2 gamers didn't even get to the finish line. This photo shows my car and the other names are not on the picture. Try the party and you'll have more fun if I start all races with just the party. Just a little tip again, have fun and race
