@EA_Barry I'm having almost the exact same issue, also on PC, and these steps did nothing to fix it (as an additional step, I also updated the video card's drivers, to no effect).
To be more specific, the area where decals become black depends on the specific car. It's almost universally on the passenger side, but in some cars it's the entire passenger side (Honda NSX), sometimes only on the passenger door (Skyline R32 with the EA Play body kit), in others it's a specific shape in the passenger side or "below a certain line" (BMW M3 GTR, Silvia S15, LanEvo9), in others it's just a small spot on the rear of the passenger-side side-skirt (Mitsu Eclipse). And in one particularly odd case case (new Acura NSX), the side decals will be okay but the rear bumper gets the black decals.
This issue is not consistent; it's very frequent, but sometimes the cars will have their decals visible, but more often than not, they will have the glitched black decals.
