DX12 Error
Hi Guys, having a bad time with your new NFS Game. Unfortunately my game crashs during Gameplay with the attached DX12 Error. Error comes 100% after about 1 to 8 Minutes of gaming. I am running the...
Same issue on Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti.
Intel Core i7 10700K @ 3.80GHz.
64GB RAM.
Windows 10.
Steam.
Tried multiple methods including the deletion of the DX12 file in the game's directory.
No changes.
I really hope they do not abandon this and patch it soon. It's making the game unplayable and disappointing.
So apparently deleting the dx12 file in shadercache folder helps also putting in launch options -dx12
Ok,
I only play the multiplayer part. After some hours I can say that the game crashs only in races. If I drive around in the open world it works for 1 hour without any problem.
I did 1 race at the start of the game, after that I drive around for 5-10 minutes, did another race, drive around for collectibles (25 minutes ?) and in the third race I crashed at start of the race.
I never crashed outside a race.
Circling back to this. I played for 4 hours straight with no crashes today.
All I did differently was upgrade to the Palace Edition, delete my save, create a new one and disable Discord's in-game overlay.
Seeing as there are still people with this issue, I no longer think it was "quietly" patched.
But the game is running well for now.
quick update,
i launched my pc today and it made a strange noise
i noticed nothing bad, but after launched the game i noticed that my lights are glitched out like on the pictures i attached and the scoreboard and like, the name list in a race had the same glitchy effect over them. it looked like a memory failure in my GPU's side. AND these hadn't occur before i had the game
i had no crash in this session but i think i closed the game before any could occur
Yesterday had like 2 crashes, today I launched the game and have one after 5 minutes. Tried 6x and gave up, as amazing this game as it is, its totaly unplayable crash mess. I am not refunding but seems like devs have no clue about how to fix this issue either right? Funny this happens mostly on high end pcs with RTX 3080 and up, do GTX 1060 users have this issue too cause I haven't seen one
