DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG
PC Specs: Lenovo Legion Y540 15"*
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU
- Intel Core i7-9750H CPU
- 16GB RAM
I have about 30+ hours on Unbound and have only started getting a DirectX error (see attached). I have tried everything I can find online:
- Adjust texture quality, effects quality and resolution in-game
- Verify file integrity (via Steam)
- Run Steam, EA and Unbound as Admin
- Fresh install latest graphics driver
- Deleted dx12 files in both locations
- Reinstall Unbound
- Attempt to use an older graphics driver
- Utilized NVIDIA to limit framerate
- Utilized MSI Afterburner to under-volt the GPU
I have had multiple crashes all at varying times within the game, ranging from right at the beginning pre-title screen to after finishing a race, in the middle of a race, cop chase and after a cop chase. Based off that I can only assume my GPU is being overloaded with requests, but why is it happening 30 hours in and not with any other game? Can anybody help please?!?
*I know my laptop is pretty underpowered but it can still run Unbound, Borderlands 3, even COD WW2 & Cold War with no issues, hence why I'm still asking for help instead of giving up
