Frame drops and Stuttering after Update NFS UNBOUND

NFS Unbound totally unplayable after the patch update today. It was working smoothly before, I had even recorded videos using NVIDIA overlay. Now I cant even select the race without frame drops. There is constant stuttering while driving the car. I was playing in Ultra before and now I can even race in Low settings.

Here is the video of before and after the update:

I uninstalled the latest driver for nvidia and installed a previous version 527.36. Seems like an issue with the Graphic driver. My game is working smoothly now.

  • I have Ryzen 9 5900x, 32GB RAM and RTX 3070. After 15 minutes of playing my fps drops to 30... Tried all the tips I could find. Changed Nvidia Control Panel settings, rolled back drivers, put the latest versions. Nothing works.

  • Not working for me. Tried everything, started with latest update.

@DuBsTeC-_x Yes, I did face this issue sometimes but it was usually after an hour or so. It was mainly because I started the game without connecting to internet. So what I do is first connect to internet and then start the EA app and from there launch the game instead of just starting from the desktop shortcut.

100% agree this is rubbish i can play the game at all this now lags witin a few mins of starting the game and it now doing it the garage not just driving arround its so poor.

i know it runs smooth on ps5 but i do9nt want to give them any  more money to play the game i will wait but this is iincreadbly poor form on their behalf

  • Thanks @gagugamer my issue seems to be related to having my Xbox controller connected via Bluetooth, when I connect via cable and remove the Bluetooth connection the game is smooth as butter

  • I'm on laptop i9-9880/32/rtx2080. Before the patch it was always above 75-80 fps. After patch on the same settings it drops to 40-45 fps in the downtown area and at nighttime with rain. At suburbs it more than 75 always. I've tried previous drivers, settings in nvidia control panel, all recommendations from cleaning cache to updating drivers etc. It is some kind of memory leak.
