Game said to wait 24 hours until trying again, not launching.

When I try to play Need for Speed Unbound it gives me this error:

"Failed to launch game

An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later."

Aswell as:

"Too many computers have accessed this acocunt's version of Need for Speed Unbound recently. Please try again later"

I never have accessed the game from another computer, have tried all troubleshooting suggested from Advisors and waited for longer than 24 hours. I was told to post here for help from community managers.

Please help.

  • Hello @TheShinyShin,

    Have you tried the usual steps of reinstalling your game, updating your CPU and GPU drivers? Also, check for windows updates and check if you're using the correct account in NFS Unbound.

    If the issue is not resolved, you should talk to support again. Try your luck with a different EA support agent.

  • I have tried all the possible troubleshooting steps. Including the ones you've mentioned.

    And are you seriously saying I should go back to support?

    They literally sent me here to get help?

  • So, I have waited for longer than 48 hours now. And I have made extremely sure that I waited 24 hours since the last time I tried to play to ensure I didn't restart the timer multiple times.

    No luck. I still can't launch the game and it gives me the same errors.

    I've gone through 6 advisors now on EA Help. They told me to post here and get in touch with a community manager. Here is all the troubleshooting I've done:

    - Reinstall the game multiple times.

    - Repaired the game multiple times.

    - Restarted my computer multiple times.

    - Cleared EA Launcher's Cache.

    - Installed vc2015, 2017 and 2019 from the vc folder.

    - Updated my operating system.

    - Updated my GPU drivers.

    - Updated the EA Launcher through EAUpdater.exe

    - Tried to clean boot into my operating system.

    @TheShinyShin,

    Sometimes when they are not able to resolve your issue they send players here to post the issue. The issue itself obviously can't be fixed by troubleshooting steps since you have tried everything.

  • It's been more than 72 hours now. Game is still not launching. I've made extra sure to wait the 24 hours + extra time.

    I guess that's it for Unbound. Nobody wants to help me.
