Item System Synchronization Failed. Error Code 80060000

Bought this game months ago as I'm moving away from console to PC. Started the game one day. The next time I booted it up, it would not let me play online. Now today I get this error code message after several attempt to play online. I did try some the troubleshooting tips on from here:

and yet here I am seeking help. I just want to enjoy my game. Any help is greatly appreciated.
