When the new daily and weekly tasks appear at midnight, so you have to be on the map beforehand, then you can do the draft, but only from the map, just don't go into the garage anymore, start the Hot Pursuit with a friend and drive behind your friend in the cop car, the draft only counts at that moment, if you go into the garage beforehand then you're out of luck and everything is gone again. So for example log in 5 minutes before midnight, drive around the map and wait until it's midnight. Try it on the Xbox, it works on the PS5.
