NEED FOR SPEED UNBOUND NOT SAVING PROGRESS ON PC

Yup same here. I was level 45 last night. I got on today to see i'm level 0 and 150,000 in my bank as if I just bought the palace edition. (which I have, but it reset like i just bought the game)

Same here. I have no idea what to do. I was level 99 multiplayer and had about 60 hours. Now when I login, it says that I am level zero. It makes me select characters and starters cars. Also set my difficulty and settings. This was after the new update.

Same deal here, I talked to EA support and according to them this has been a prominent bug that has been reported in their support, and they are working on a fix to get it resolved ASAP. Unsure if we will be able to get our saves back, but hopefully that is the case. They must be backed up somewhere in ther cloud servers

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Unsure, this randomly started happening after shutting the game off normally once and then booting it up
What happens when the bug occurs? The game loads up, asks the preferences that normally appear when you run it for the first time, and then the main menu pops up, after selecting either mode I am prompted into the character selection screen, all my progress is gone from both the single and multiplayer modes
What do you expect to see? My regular savegame and consequentially, my progress to be there. Most importantly I want to see this get fixed, I have seen a lot of people that have lost their savegames and I bet we all want to get back to our playthroughs as soon as possible, starting over from scratch after 80+ hours of gameplay is simply unreasonable.

Decided to repost this here so it can gain more attention, a bug this fatal affecting many players cannot be present in the game without the devs batting an eye. There have to be cloud backups somewhere, simply send the files to us or synchronize the Origin/EA saves to when they were fine so we can get back to playing, please.

I was playing multiplayer as usual and I quit the game, now when I booted it up, it asked me all the preferences as it would when you were running it for the first time and now suddenly my single and multiplayer progress is all completely lost. The savegame file in the documents folder is still there, but judging by the date, it seems to have been overwritten by the game itself, so the only chance of recovery would be for the cloud save to synchronize back to when nothing was wiped, if that is even possible.

Is there any chance for me to recover any of my progress? I had well over 80 hours clocked into the game, all the achievements unlocked, got every collectable and was well on my way in multiplayer mode at level 70, starting from scratch would leave me disheartened from playing again.
