Have you tried adding the "Excalibur" folder (the folder which contains the game files) to the exclusions from Microsoft Defender Antivirus scans?

Have you tried the "cache" folder delete?

I do not even have a cache folder. The game would not even load enough to make one. I do not have crash dumps either
