So I only have 5 cars left in the story and 74 cars online, and that's enough for me, I won't buy more than 75 cars anymore. I have the cars that caused the errors, in that way! I was able to get back online, but I wasn't able to search for a game. Instead, I had "my cars" and slowly browsed through them from the beginning, and bang, the message immediately popped up on one of them: Wrap couldn't be saved! That was the exact car we got with a wrap from the story. Ok, car remembered and sold, and Wrap also deleted, then logged out and saved the data from the console to the cloud again, restarted Consoe, and saved the data from the cloud to the console, and then started the game, went online again and looked through the cars again and bang, found the second car, it was a DLC car, ok, *, and the car was sold. Then the data was saved again, and restarted again, and the same game for the third time, and no message came up on any car, ok, data saved again, synchronization turned on again, and since then my game has been running without any problems. That was 2 days of troubleshooting. - @livinwithaliens7
yes, you're right, all the problems only started with Vol.2. With Vol.2 I had the first problem, suddenly in online mode there were only 58,000 of my 21 million money left in the account, and of my 95 Cars only 17 cars left in the garage. and no one could help! With Vol.3 and Vol.4 the problems with the wraps and the problems with logging into the online game started. So I think that normally EA would have to make it so that you can buy all the cars at Unbound and have them in your garage, and all the cars also come with wraps. - livinwithaliens72 years agoRising Scout

How often when did the problem start: The error code FTCL5001 has been happening since the Vol.2 update(normally I can bypass the error code FTCL5001 and still get into a server however I get kicked back offline to homescreen once I re enter a safehouse from free roam). The error codes FTJR2008 and 4001000 has been happening since this past Tuesday Sept.19.
I have tried the following:
-Rebuild database and clear cache
-Uninstalled and reinstalled game
-Reset router(hardwired connection)Good download and upload speeds
-Synced and unsynced save data
-Deleted save data from console and downloaded cloud data
-Reset console, hard reset and unplugged and replugged wires in back of console
-Took console apart and cleaned thoroughly(Console was spotless)
-Console and game both have the latest updates
-Started a new game without the save data and was able to get online and no error codes, however once I download my save data that has my 100% progress and completion, the error codes start back again and I am once again unable to get online
-Reached out to EA forums and social media groups for help.I am certainly not the only one that's experiencing this.
-Changed DNS in console internet connection settings to see if it would help but was unsuccessful
-Replaced hdmi cord and ethernet cable with new ones
- Toggled with HDCP settings
Please feel free to access my account in case you need to dig in to find a solution.Thank you for your help and I can't wait to get back to playing the game I love!.
I've been going through this FTCL5001 BS for over a month. Did the ea chat and the said it was a known problem and their people are working on it. It's been a problem for over a year.
Fix#1 I did everything you did minus the hardware replacement and nothing then I sold a bunch of cars and deleted some wraps. Went from 118 to 45. Finally got to race some online. Still got the same error message but it would load the online races sporadically. Not a permanent solution.
Fix#2 Change router settings to a single or moderate nat type. I'm guessing if you check your nat type it'll come back as a double nat. The dreaded double nat. Google that and you'll find everything you need in it. It is dependant on your router and isp. I finally changed my router to an access point long story severely shortened.
Almost drove to ea headquarters over this.
I did have the synchronization error too and had to delete a bunch of cars once too. That one is specifically over too much inventory

FTCL5001 is a router settings issue and ea should know better

I've went through ea chat and everything and tried your solutions and nothing. I finally discovered what the actual issue is and ea SHOULD know. It's a router issue and their network doesn't play well with routers that do a double nat type. That's all it is and if you Google double nat type you'll find loads of information on it. I don't mean to sound douchy but this has been very frustrating. 7-8 hours of my life over a few weeks. Super frustrating. Side note. You'll find people saying to sell some cars and deleted some wraps but that doesn't really solve the problem either. As soon as I changed my nat type it works like a charm. Thanks for trying to help. There's not much on this specific error code

Are you getting an error message? Yes, every time I try to go online.
Date this issue started (is it still happening?)? Last week. And yes it’s still happening
Is anything else happening? Just error codes and not being able to go online.
Please share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue: restarted app, deleted data, deleted and redownloaded game.
