No Controller input on ps5***HELP
I am about 40% through the story mode, and all of a sudden when I went to play today the game decides it did not want to receive any input from my controller. I first thought it was my controller, which I promptly tested and on other games and in the menu it worked perfectly, all input was being received.
This has been insanely frustrating, I have done everything from resetting the console to the controller to hard resetting the controller, connecting it to other sources then back to the ps5. i have uninstalled the game reinstalled the game unsinged and resynced all the data. literally everything I could possibly think of.
This is what happens...... I go into the game everything loads properly then once in the game I can't use any controller buttons besides the PS button, if I then reset the controller and go back into the game, upon loading into the game my car is thrown into reverse and I cannot do a thing about it.
Have tried to contact EA support but that's just as impossible as reaching Jesus Christ himself.

- Clear the systems cache (Close the game completely > Turn off the console > Wait 30-60 seconds > Restart and Relaunch)
- Check for updates
- Restore Licence
- Try the steps in our Connection and Advance Connection Guides
- Open your PS5 NAT Type
- Entering Safe Mode and Rebuild your PS database
