PS5 and XBOX controllers not working properly on PC - Input freezes randomly

Question

Both my PS5 (wired) and brand new XBOX controller (connected with USB) are not working properly. The game seems to ignore any input randomly for a few seconds while I am drinving, as if a button would get stuck. I do not have this type of behavior with any other games... This is clearly a bug in Need for Speed Unbound.

I cannot play the game since it launched. I try it from time to time, hoping an update would be released but the issue is still present at the moment.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I have an Xbox One controller and Xbox Elite V.2 controller and both have different issues with Unbound. But they have ZERO issues with any other game. Both seem fine if I connect via USB, but not wirelessly.

Almost every EA game I've ever had has some controller issue; most of them are fine if I unplug my G29 wheel. But again, I don't have these issues with any other games, except those from EA.

@Sjonny30 Updated the Xbox controller firmware last week. Issue still present.

@Blasthor22 XBox controllers can work better when you update the firmware and Dualsense 5 controllers are not officially supported by the game.
