Races only giving me $250 and not increasing

I just won two races, one for $28,000 and another for $30,000 in single player mode, I just realized that the amount is at $250 at risk. I went to my Garage to see if it was just a bug and it only banked the $250. I played another high pay out race, and still only gave me $250 l, is anyone going through this issue? How can I get this fixed?
