Unfortunately changing the bios to a new one and then downgrading it did nothing, the game works just as badly, I can only wait for some fix unfortunately. Even rolling back to March does nothing. Every game works but unbound works badly, i.e. GPU below 50% and so all the time even after changing shadows. CPU also at 46 - 50%.

There is a user.cfg on internet for the cpu problem. I have 13900k and i set it to 16-24-0-32. It works like charm...

I'm uploading a screenshot from the game, the fps number is the same regardless of the graphics settings I have, strange isn't it?

Your problem is 100% bios. I wrote this before. Because your CPU and GPU usage is extremely low. No matter what setting you change, it won't fix it.

I am currently using the November 2023 bios. Everything is normal. I opened the same topic in Vol 7, but my bios was up to date then. Maybe he had the same situation, but I didn't realize it at the time. The version I am currently using is AD0 and MSI has released 6 bios on top of it. I tried them all one by one. The last time I used it, this game improved 100%, and there was an increase of nearly 10 FPS in other games. The only problem is the shadow problem in this game. On Nvidia cards, 50-60 fps suddenly drops between ultra and high. There is no problem with AMD, 2-3 fps changes. As it should be.

The most current bios is not always the best bios.

I was using the new bios when the last update of this game came, but I didn't think of the bios because there was not much difference in other games. Then, when these Intel problems started to appear on the internet, it came to my mind and I started trying backwards, one by one. FPS started to increase as we went backwards. Last time I came to November 2023 and boom, the game went from 32 fps to 150 fps. CPU and GPU usage returned to normal.

If you have also updated the CPU microcode with the new BIOS, do not return to the old BIOS. But if there is no update in the microcode like me, you can easily return. What do you have to lose by trying?

I have 2 PCs with the same motherboard, one has a 13600k 4060 Ti graphics card and 150 fps at 1080p native resolution, the other has a 12100f and 1660ti, which gets 1080p 80 fps at native resolution. Good luck my friend, I wish you had tried lowering the bios until you had this much trouble. At least you could say you dropped it and it didn't happen. Then I would have accepted that it might be related to my motherboard. That's what I said at the very beginning.

I had no problems with previous updates, only 8.01 finished me off. As for bios, the microcode games have been going on since February, so anyone who had earlier bios and the new ones is able to downgrade, but why, because the game has such a whim? Have you followed the updates in nfs unbound - on average every 1 or 1.5 months new ones come out, we'll wait, I'm in no hurry, there's no point in disassembling the entire computer for one game. I also changed bios, like drivers, on average every 2 months, a new one and what? I broke the previous board, I won't do it again.

where is update i cant see?

I don't see any updates to the game on steam

But this is not about the bios but about game updates, supposedly a patch has been released that fixes the problem but for now it doesn't update anything for me

Is there anyone getting an update?

Dude, there hasn't been any update to the game since September 3. That update already broke the game.

In the message you sent yesterday, you said that an update regarding high CPU usage was released. Therefore, since there is no update available to us, we do not have the opportunity to test it.

Unfortunately it does not download any update, neither on steam nor on EA apss

There is no update launched for the pc version of the game. I even tryied to repair the game and nothing happen.

Haha I think the @EA_Illium  might have met with the wrong team for the wrong game. 🙂

We are all getting alot of issues from this update. Crashes and the game not launching. Getting really slow performance as well. Unsure what you guys have done but you did not make the game any better

The game works great now. Over 200 fps, in 4k, ultra, even with ultra shadows.

Works ok but, uses CPU is big 60 70% wow!!!!!
