Both, for example I sold all the story mode cars except for one car, since I've only been playing multiplayer since finishing the story. I and many of my friends had this error, and by reducing the number of cars the error went away.

@JudyRacing I did both and the Error message is gone but I still can't log in. I mean I did get in but now I can't.

How many cars do you have left? Unfortunately, you can't give a general answer to this error, this error occurs when you have a certain number of cars, all of my friends have had this error on the PS5. For me, the error occurred after the 84th car, for my friend after the 102nd car, and for the next friend after 68 cars. This difference is strange. I now only have 1 car in the story, in multiplayer, including the police cars, there are 63 and the game runs. What you can do now is empty your cache and then rebuild the database, I do this once a week, if that doesn't help, restore the licenses.

OK, this is how it works for the PS5!
Press the start button directly on the PS5 with your hand until you hear a second beep. Then go to the point: Clear cache and recreate database. First press Clear cache, then turn the PS5 off again, and press the start button again until you hear the second beep, and then press Recreate database, after creating it you can start the PS5 normally, done.
When you are on the main screen, go to the NFS Unbound image and press the options key, and then you will see the point Restore licenses. Then you have done everything for now.
Now to the point Cars, in multiplayer you unfortunately have to count the cars from the police garage. Before Volume 8 I had reduced my cars to 78, and by completing the police tasks you get police cars, and with a new police car I had this stupid error again,
OK, I reduced the normal garage again and the error went away again. And since then I've just been thinking, why do you have so many cars? So I reduced the number in the various classes so that I have 1 or 2 short track cars, and 1 or 2 for top speed tracks, and 1 or 2 cars each, as we say in our group, fun racing cars, i.e. American cars, and since we have a group chat, we decide beforehand whether we want to do normal races or fun racing. We always have a lot of fun every day.
OK, try the error thing first.

ohh, but you can definitely clean the PC too? And I would definitely try to sell cars. Otherwise I can't really help you with the PC.

I know how to empty the entire cache on the PC, but someone who is familiar with PCs will definitely know how to do it for NFS Unbound.
