Re: NFS Unbound Error Code 6 & Error Code 9: "Unable to save file"

I may have found a fix..So I downloaded my cloud save data to my console and then I deleted my saved data from the cloud.Evidently it was the cloud data that was corrupted. I also did a rebuild database just for added measures..So far it's working but I have noticed some of my license plates are locked and I had to re-add all of my custom wraps but they finally are saving and no longer deleting from my cars like before.Also im no longer getting the error code 6 nor anymore unable to sync errors.Everything seems to be running normal again.I also left sync off in settings.Hope this helps you as well!

After it rebuilds the data half the file is gone

If you are running into Error code 6 would it be possible to get the following information?

• Which platform are you on? (Device or client)
• What is your EA ID, PSN ID, or Gamertag?
• Are you in Story mode or Multiplayer?
• Are you getting an error message?
• Does this happen when editing a car or leaving the garage?
• Can you think of any other info that might be helpful? 
• If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip of the issue...
• If on PC, please share a DxDiag and an EA app Error ID

We can use this information, to help make the team aware of the issue and to further investigate.

I don't know how to do this, I just bought the game and it appeared like this.

I play on Pc but I don't know how to do it, do you have a YouTube channel or discord where you can send me a video explaining how it's done?

I tried this it worked for a while but then started messing up again

-при редактировании автомобиля тоже происходит
- другой информации нет
 пробовал переустановить игру, не помогло
также проверял целостность файлов- тоже не помогло

hello to who may read this i just got need for speed unbound and installed the game  i have i7 cpu  amd 64gb of ram and invida  RTX 2070 OC 8gb of GPU ram if can't get any help with this i'm going have remove  chop off as a loss   the error i'm  getting is error 6 the drive that it installed in  is a 8TB 3.5 hard drive   any help with this would be nice and again  thank you

Here we go again...Error code 6..unable to save wrap.I can't create any wraps at all.This has started back again since the new Vol.6 update. The problem has been going on actually since the release of the game.I have tried doing EVERYTHING that can be done on my end.So before i get a bunch of replies asking did you try this or that...YES..ive done everything since others and myself have been dealing with this problem since the game dropped and we've been exhausting every effort here in EA Help since way back in last year to try and resolve and fix this.This is clearly an issue on the developers end and not our end.Can this please finally be fixed!!!

Hey I’m having this problem on ps5. Is there a fix for this? It’s really frustrating because I keep getting scared that all my self designed livery’s will delete themselves

My gamertag is LucarioTJK (PS5)

I currently have 54-55 wraps, all made in multiplayer.

Attempting to work on and save progress on anymore wraps gives me the messege ("Unable to save file. Your progress will not be stored. Please check our support pages for more help")

I will also get an error code..either 6 or 9, I personally recieve 9s mostly with very few 6s.

This bug seems to affect each player differently..some will be able to make less/more wraps before the bug is triggered.  For those destined to get it...it's not a matter of IF they'll get it......it's WHEN.

I..among other players are sick and tired of putting in...HOURS..of effort creating beautiful works of art or downloading such art..only to eventually be stopped dead in our tracks by problems like THIS..with very little / no solution to the problem.

I hope that EA and Criterion can read this and start listening to other players having the same issues and find a solution to this problem and FIX IT.

Upload console data to cloud. Cloud should delete it automatically. Might have to go back in and redo somethings.
