- @KardinalKain I mean yeah I know, last it showed I had 6.5 hrs left, then I deleted to re-download now it's gone

Some things to check:
- You have an active and functional internet connection
- You have an active PS+ subscription
- Restore licenses - https://www.playstation.com/en-ie/support/games/restore-licences-playstation/
- Rebuild Database - https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/support/hardware/safe-mode-playstation/
Thanks.
- @EA_Barry I have stable internet (I play online) I have ps+ and I tried both restoring licenses and rebuilding database, none worked. I think it's an issue from EA's side of things please fix it
I did never get a chance to download 10 hours trail and no help ea dont care about players that have problem

Hello, here has been my experience so far:
Like everyone else I was not able to access the trial. I downloaded it and then when I launched it, it said I had "10:00 Hours" left. When I selected to launch game, it took me to the store page to purchase the game. This also occured when I clicked on "view game." There was a lock icon next to the games title when hovering over it.
I then deleted the trial to try and redownload it. This made things worse. Since I deleted the game there is no option to download the trail again, through EA Play on the PS store. This actually even removed the ability for me to download other game trials as well.
To be clear I have been accessing the trials through: PS Store > Subscriptions > Scroll down to "EA Play" and select "Learn More" > Scroll down to the bottom to "Trials" and select a game I am interested in.
To my knowledge this is the only way to access the trials with EA Play.
So after all the trial options disappeared from the games listed on "Trials" I followed the instructions to Restore licenses and Rebuild Databases. This did not fix the Trial options for NFS: Unbound. It did however return the options for trials on the other games.
Other steps I also tried taking:
- Making sure there was no saved dare or game data for the game on the system (there was not).
- Paying for an extra month of EA Play (even though I just subscribed for a month 2 days ago, and now I am pretty bummed I wasted another $4.99)
- Made sure this PS5 was listed as my Primary Console and disable game sharing between my other console.
- Rebuild Databases a 2nd time after I did all of that.
This still did not fix the problem. I have also attached a few screenshots of what I currently see. One is a shot of where I located the trials. Another is the trial options clearly not showing when I click on NFS: Unbound. Next is one showing the ability for me to redownload NHL 22 trial of I'd like to. I can provide another screenshot showing that I can still download new trials for games I haven't tried yet (like FIFA), if needed.
This seems like proof that this issues is only effecting NFS: Unbound and nothing else. Although, I'll leave that for support to decide.
I hope this helps isolate the issue and provide a means of correcting it.
P.S. I have confirmed that I have ~1 Year of PS+ Premium remaining and a stable internet connection.
I think there doing it cause they know the game is good and want people to buy it Patheic
- @LostinthePANIC There doing it cause they know it’s good pathic
So are we entitled to a refund?

@EA_BarryI have the same issue on PS5. I did all the steps you provided and it still shows 6 h 42 m remaining but takes me to purchase. I had the same issue with the Madden 23 trial
*I have the FIFA 23 trial with 8 hours left and it works fine. Same issue here.

the problem is not solved, for everyone it is still showing as locked.
I get it, it was the weekend, but no acknowledgment here that it’s being actually reviewed instead of onus on us, and your twitter account acting like a 9-year old with the replies. Simply unprofessional on both accords.

Did all of these steps, chatted with EA Help and they sent me to PS support. PS support went through the same steps and sent me back to you. How is this solved? We are still having the same issue.

Barry, do your god damn job.
after having to deal with the literal 8 year old running the unbound twitter, I’m tired of you guys.

@EA_Barry do you have an update on how to fix this issue? I can also confirm that I am able to add other EA Game trials to my library (I just added Madden 23 today). NFS Unbound is still not in my Library, nor do I have the option to re-add/download the trial.
Hope you get us some steps for a fix soon.
Any update?
Guys I’m not sure if this is a total fix but if you go into your PlayStation settings and head into storage then saved data and then PS5 games. Delete the NFS unbound save data, I did this and it unlocked my trial and allowed me to download. I am not guaranteeing this will work for everyone or if it does work however this is what worked for me so thought I would provide a possible solution. I’m sorry in advance if this doesn’t fix your issue but hopefully it may help some of you.
- @RAViiNG_FuZioNz Really hoping this works
- @RAViiNG_FuZioNz It didn't ☹️ and I lost my progress now
I can’t even find the trial. It doesn’t exist. Can’t do anything but pay full price. So yeah, that’s not gonna happen. Will wait for discount or will hit up and ask my friend for a copy and tell him how bad this exp was.

Wow they marked this as the solution. How * lazy. This didn’t work for me. I could NEVER see the trial after it errored out after never playing a single minute. I bought the game at Best Buy for $41.
EA got my money, but not all of it. This isn’t the behavior EA should be looking to model.
