Hello,After the update, I started the game and was getting oddly long loading times as well as often frame drops to 10-15 fps.I closed the game and tried to launch it. The ea app opens a dialogue box saying "launching game" and after that suddenly the whole app disappears then 1-2 seconds later the ea app appears at the home screen. The game never launched.What I have done so far:1. EA app's cache delete from the app itself2. NFS Unbound files repair3. Restart of the PCDidn't work.4. Updated Nvidia driver5. Restart of the PCDidn't work.6. Completely installed Unbound then chased and deleted any residual files7. Completely uninstall the EA app then delete any residual files8. Restart of the PC9. Reinstalled them both.Didn't work.Come on, I am excited about this update and it looks cool...Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Same thing here, tried everything in the launcher and nothing, only way its restart PC to be able to launch the game once lolI bet its a DENUVO related issue (could be wrong), which would mean once again DRM preventing us from playing our games ☹️But since vol 7 also introduced the minimap and speedometer bug, it could also be something messing up in the game`s code

The update got botched completely, man. I can't play with any vehicles beyond the civic type R. Anytime I scroll over it, this thing breaks the game and crashes my app on ps5. I can't sell it. So now I have to hope EA sees my pleas and gets rid of this car for me.

@Luminous_Hound That's annoying. I've seen other people having this problem as well. Why the civic, though? The thing is, if they get rid of the car, that's a workaround, not a fix and they need to fix it.

@1KayDee1In my case it launches the first time. After I exit the game and go back in, it wont start. If I restart the PC...it works, till I exit the game again...

I had the same problem and incredibly in my case the solution was to launch the game via the small button you can see in the picture

@1KayDee1 I used the following commands in CMD: "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" and "sfc /scannow". These will repair corrupted files in Windows but I believe this game will just corrupt it again later in the future. But it did fix it for me.

@Sjonny30 Did this one as well because I was trying to fix a failing Windows update which I thought was causing the issue. I found out that there's been a problem with this particular Windows update since January and I didn't have launch issues then so the Windows update isn't the issue. The "sfc /scannow" fixed corrupt files but nothing changes. Can't launch it. Thanks for the suggestion though. Maybe I will run it a few more times as the equivalent of slamming a kitchen appliance to make it work. (I slammed a non-working small heater, and a juice machine once and it worked, sooo. :D )

OK, so here are two very odd workarounds that I just found out.
Workaround 1: Run EA app as admin even though it has admin rights. Then launch the game NOT from the Installed games tile button and NOT from the bigger "Play" button. Go to "Library" then launch from the tile button on the bottom right corner of the square card thing under "Installed". See the attached "Untitled-0" image.
Workaround 2: Run EA app as admin even though it has admin rights. Then follow the process of preparing the game files and when you get the pop-up dialog box with the "Launch" and "Dismiss" options click on Launch instead of running it from somewhere else. See the attached "Untitled-1" image.
Check if this helps. Any other way to launch it still doesn't work.
Edit: The workarounds are very unreliable.

So i had this problem too, verified the steam files, but nothing.
What I did is that i went to EA app / the 3 dots on top left / Help / Go to the last option (recovery or something, i have it on another language) It will delete the cache and after I did that it worked fine.
