Vol. 6 Bug: Chat wheel messages no longer show up after crossing the finish line

Summarize your bug Before the volume 6 update, you used to be able to send and see emotes after crossing the finish line, while the driver's animation plays, so you could send or receive "good race!" for example to the left of the screen, but since the Volume 6 update, you can no longer see these chats after crossing the line. You can still send the chats, but neither you nor the other players will see the messages, bug.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try and send a message through the chat wheel after crossing the finish line in a race, the message won't show up on the left of the screen.
What happens when the bug occurs? Chat wheel messages aren't visible after crossing the finish line.
What do you expect to see? The chat wheel messages to show to the left of the screen the way they did before the Vol update.
