Your game failed to launch: Double-check your connection, or try again later.
When attempting to launch the game I encounter this issue. I've made sure everything is up to date, restarted, and so on. Even attempted a reinstall, which is NOT an acceptable troubleshooting step on a fresh install. This appears to be a very common issue, yet isn't noted in the "Known Issues" or even given any possible solution steps. Older games still launch fine. Does anyone have any clue how to get this broke crap to work?
- @Inaassy Actually yes. I did.. though it's still an issue that needs to be fixed.
In your EA Launcher apps directory you will find several application files. (You can find the path by right clicking the desktop shortcut and look at the "target file")
The default launched is EALauncher.exe, however there is another called EADesktop.exe.
Close the launcher by right clicking the icon in the system tray area of the taskbar (to the left of the time and date)
Now open the EADesktop.exe file, it appears to be the same as the launcher in every way that I noticed.. but you CAN launch the game. At least it's worked for me.
