Be A Pro Suggestions to NHL24
Okay, so it’s safe to say Be A Pro has been the same for several years. I fully understand EA can’t put effort into all modes at the same time, but now it’s time for an overhaul.
Obviously they make SO MUCH MORE money on people buying packs for a few hundred bucks a year, but the loyal offline players need some love as well. Here’s a list of stuff I’d like to see or things that should be improved.
1. NO ONE, and I mean no one, likes to have a conversation with your team mate over and over again. Same dialogues, same content.
What I’d like to see is that you only have conversations with the coach if you do well, take too many penalties or if your agent has something new to tell/ask you.
2. The way you reach new X-factors is quite ridiculous. “Stay in your team for 5 years to unlock Magnetic” - what’s this nonsense? Or “Don’t win the cup in the next 3 years and unlock One Timer”.
How is that realistic and fun?
Wouldn’t it make more sense if you unlocked One Timer if you win the Richard? Or if you unlocked Born Leader if you stayed at the same team for a longer period?
3. Make pre game more interesting. For example:
- Play as a goalie and before the game you have team mates shoot some pucks in warmups.
- Play as forward and skate around and shoot some pucks.
This would make things more fun and switch it up a little bit.
4. I know a 69 overall player doesn’t have the best puck skills, but it’s basically impossible to receive a puck with speed without losing it. Surely a 69 overall player should be able to handle the puck at least.
5. Add some extra playing styles when creating a player. For example:
- Magician: Start with decent puck skills, but maybe decrease the strength.
- Speedster: Start with better acceleration/speed, but less puck skills.
Just something extra so you can be more like Patrick Kane (Magician) and have great puck skills from the beginning.
6. Add All Star weekend and let you participate in the game and skills competition. This has been a suggestion for so many years and would make the game mode a lot more fun.
7. Artery a goal you should be able to skate to the bench and fist bump you team mates like they do in real life.
Can’t think of anything else now, but please add your suggestions and hopefully they’ll actually listen and give us some love next year.
