Custom Franchise AHL Team Control
I think the custom Franchise mode is a great idea and I am looking forward to jumping into it soon. One thing I found concerning is the lack of ability to control the AHL teams.
- If you do a league over 32 teams it starts poaching European teams that you cannot make into a main "NHL" team. I am not partial to any other the teams affected, but someone who likes these teams and wants to use them as their "NHL" team and wants to have a 33 to 48 team league is out of luck.
- If you reduce the number of teams below 32, the AHL teams of the NHL teams removed by default are completely unusable. I considered doing a 6 team franchise as the Devils and using my (former) hometown Syracuse Crunch as my AHL team. I am unable to.
- I was considering doing a custom franchise with Kolner Haie of the DEL as my "NHL" and Sparta Praha of ELH as my "AHL." I am unable to do so.
I feel the solution to this is allowing the user to control which AHL teams are included - please fix this. Also consider allowing us to exclude "AHL" teams altogether if we wish.
