NHL 23 failed to retrieve data hocky ultimate team

Hello, everyone. Are any of you on Xbox? I'm trying to find out if this is a PS4/5 issue only. Something else to try is completely power cycling your equipment with the following steps: unplug your modem/router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem/router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. Let me know if that helps or not. Thanks!

I'm having the same issue and I'm on Xbox X. You are however aware of this as you're dealing with it on another thread in the technical issues forum....

This is a separate issue that we're currently looking in to to. One thing you can try is taking a penalty and letting the cutscene play out. After that, play may return to normal.

For everyone else not able to open your starter pack, try changing your team name. It's possible this is happening when choosing a team name that is already in use.

I can’t play hut, i’ts the secind day that it does that, the night before i bought packs, and changed my lineup and from that moment i can’t save anything, i have missing guys in my lineup and i can’t put new ones nor the old ones in because it doesn’t save

I’ve tried changing my name and still doesn’t work. I’ve tried everything throughout the thread and still can’t get it to work. I’m on PS4 as well to answer previous question.

Try autofilling a new lineup. Then, see if it can be edited.
