Does it also happen if you try to play as a skater? Are there are any other modes in WoC that does this or is it only drop-ins?

  • I can play goalie perfectly fine,but when I try to switch to skater I can’t play in drop in‘s,clubs,threes eliminator, ones eliminator,but I can go on nhl 23 old gen Version in play all positions fine this happened to me last year and I had to make a whole new account just to play this year I can’t even do that!

    Try deleting your personal saved data for NHL 23. Press the Guide button and then highlight the NHL 23 tile. Then, hit the Menu button. It's the small one to the right of the Guide button with 3 horizontal lines on it. Next, go to Manage game and add-ons > Saved data. Delete the file with your gamertag on it. There is the risk of losing offline saves and changes to settings you've made. Normally, those download from the cloud, but I can't guarantee this. Let me know what happens. Thanks!

    No. It's strictly offline saves and settings that are affected, but they should download from the cloud. Again, that's not something I can guarantee though.

    Check to see if you have the latest roster update at Settings > Rosters > Active Roster. If you don't, get the latest one and try again.

  • I tried that it did not work I don’t know do you wanna give me a call and you can guide me through some other ways to might fix it

    Just to be sure, did you update the roster or are you having trouble with that? Also, I'd like to make sure that you changed your gamerpic to a default image.

  • Yes the active roster is perfectly fine I did change it to the default and then put it back to normal no the only thing I’m having problems with is easho

    You mentioned previously this happens when switching to your skater. Have you tried changing every option for customization? Gear and head options.

    @55hippy 

    Try clearing your alternate MAC address with these instructions -

    Go to your Xbox Settings
    Go to "Network", then "Advanced Network Settings"
    Click on "Alternate MAC Address", and then click "Clear"

    Let me know what happens.

    As a test, can you try switching your connection to use a mobile hotspot and try again? Let me know if that makes a difference or not.
