Unable to Link EA account to Xbox account

Upon entering NHL 23's online modes, I am prompted with an error and a QR code to reset my password. Following this prompt solves nothing and it comes right back over and over again. When I follow the steps to link my accounts through the EA app or EA website, after clicking to log in through the Xbox icon, I receive an error page that says "connect_error_social_login_failure" and a prompt to reset my password. This again solves nothing and it happens time after time. I have tried with 2 different EA accounts with different emails, one with the same email as my Xbox account, and the other EA account is brand new. I have tried on both mobile and desktop. I contacted support and all they did was give me a link to the same steps I had already stated did not work. I am trying to play online on an Xbox One, and have tried both wireless and wired connections. I do not mind which account connects to my Xbox, as long as It allows me to play online.

    Hi there, @ColeS3486 

    I'm not seeing an Xbox account linked to the account you're posting with. Most likely, it's linked to a different account. What you should do is contact an advisor so they can find the account based on your gamertag. I'm not seeing where you're providing this to the advisor so far. You might want to try our Twitter (@eahelp) or Facebook (facebook.com/eahelphub) support. You can also open a case here as you did before. Chances are good your gamertag is already linked to another account so if you're trying to reset the password when logged in to a different account, it's not going to reset it for the account in question.
